Abstract
Statement of the Problem: Looking for the solutions inside the Subconscious Mind (SCM). Most answers to emotional and even physical problems are to be found there, but the “how” is not fully understood. But does such a thing as hypnosis even exist? What if there is more than one state of hypnosis, and what are its implications in working with these states? What can be accomplished? What can be discovered that is relevant to the healing of the mind and the body? How can it be used in therapeutical approaches? Is there a general formula for how symptoms develop? Can science prove the concept? Methodology & Theoretical Orientation: The groundwork needed to be done first by using three measurements (fMRI, MRS, EEG), a large number of volunteers (50), a uniform and reproducible approach to the hypnotic process (induction), recognizable states and their different characteristics, as well as experienced professionals performing the inductions. While there’s been clinical success and growing research interest in hypnosis, neurobiological underpinnings induced by hypnosis remain unclear. Based on these findings, the next level of our theory that “every symptom has a cause” that can be uncovered and neutralized in the SCM, must be initiated....Read more
