Andrew completed graduate studies at Antioch University (USA), specializing in couple and family therapy. His previous professional experience includes many years working in hospitals, residential programs, and private practice in Boston, Massachusetts. He is currently the president of the Canadian Association for Marriage & Family Therapy.

Professor Alexander Baldacchino; PhD, MD, MPhil, FRCPsych, FRCP is a Clinical Professor at the University of St Andrews School of Medicine and specialises in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. He is an Executive Board Member and President to the International Society of Addiction Medicine (ISAM). His main research interest lies in improving the lives of individuals with a history of substance use disorders. His research portfolio has a common thread of understanding the co-morbid conditions (physical and psychological) arising as a result of chronic abuse of pharmacological agents with dependence potential especially opioids, nicotine and alcohol. He is interested in utilising informatics systems, clinical outcome data, neuropsychological and neuroimaging processes and digital technology amongst many other possibilities in order to identify and minimise risks present in this population. Additionally he has been working with United Nation agencies such as UNODC and WHO, with the EMCDDA, Pompidou Group and other international intergovernmental organisations. After 40 years as a practising clinician he has just retired from NHS Fife as a senior consultant psychiatrist and clinical lead. During that time he also acted as Director for Research, Development and Innovation for 22 years.

Professor Marco O. Bertelli, MD is the scientific director of the Research and Clinical Centre (CREA) of Fondazione San Sebastiano, Misericordia di Firenze, Florence, Italy. He acted and still acts as a consultant psychiatrist to various service providers for people with neurodevelopmental disabilities and mental health problems. He worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Florence and taught and still teaches in several Italian and international courses. Professor Bertelli is the current president of SIDiN (Italian Society for Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and past president of both the Psychiatry of Intellectual Disability section of the World Psychiatric Association and the European Association for Mental Health in Intellectual Disability. For the World Psychiatric Association, he is currently chairing the Working Group on Autism Spectrum Disorder. He has been a member of the Working Group on Classification of Intellectual Disabilities of the WHO International Advisory Group for the revision of ICD-11. For the World Health Organization is also worked within the Development Group for Autism Spectrum Disorders to the creation of the WHO Package of Interventions for Rehabilitation. He is an editorial board member of some scientific journals in the field, such as the Journal of Intellectual Disability Research, and author of around 250 journal articles and book chapters. Since 2017, Dr Bertelli is member of the scientific committee of the Italian Observatory for Disabilities. In 2011, he was awarded with the Honorary Membership of the World Psychiatric Association for excellence in service, and in 2021, he received the Leon Eisenberg Award of the Harvard Medical School for outstanding leadership and stewardship in the field of neurodevelopmental disorders.

Victor Blüml is a psychiatrist, psychoanalyst (Vienna Psychoanalytic Society/IPA) and TFP therapist. He studied medicine and philosophy in Vienna and Paris. He currently works as an associate professor and vice head of the outpatient ward at the Department of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy of the Medical University of Vienna. His main research interests include personality structure, personality disorders, and conceptual issues of psychoanalysis.

Wendy was appointed as a Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist in Leeds in 1990 and now works two days a week in the memory service. She is also the National Mental Health Clinical Advisor to Health Education England. She has been involved in the organisation and delivery of postgraduate training since she started as a consultant. She has held many roles in education. She set up the Yorkshire School of Psychiatry and was the first Head of School. She was Dean of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) from 2011 to 2016 and President from 2017 to 2020. She Co-chaired the RCPsych Gatsby Wellcome Neuroscience Project which focused on modernising the neuroscience taught to psychiatric trainees from 2016 to 2021. She is currently Chair of the Clinical group of Equally Well, a project set up to improve physical health in people with a serious mental illness, Chair of the Public Engagement Editorial Board at RCPsych and leads the Expert Group on COVID-19 Care for People with Mental Illness for the World Psychiatric Association.
